True Advancement {Buzz Korea}

I like the advancement of nations if it could be used for the betterment of the people living there. So it can be called as true advancement. Basically the best thing about technology is  they can help us living a prosperous life. And if we feel some trouble and problems it help us solving those problems.

I have a similar kind of experience  few weeks ago and wanna share with you all. so that if you have such kind of situation, you many be able to handle it properly.  On way back home from my lab and thinking about the possible results of my experiments I went to the nearby ATM.  I just withdraw some money  and after taking my card and receipt i forget to collect the money (since I was deep in my thought) and I left the booth because I have a girl waiting behind me.
I had a lunch at my home and was  there for almost an hour. When suddenly i had a spark in my mind about the withdrawn money. I tried to find in my pockets and wallet but couldn't.  So finally I came to the point that i forget to pick my money from the ATM machine. I went back and check my account from which the specific amount was already yaken. I felt almost helpless since it was my fault. I went to bank and they said you need to go to the same ATM booth and call the help line to solve your problem. I did the same, although in Korean language but I have managed to explain my case to the help line. She take some basic information and promised me that they will try to solve my problem after 10 minutes.
Meanwhile I thought why this happened to me. Because being a Muslim i believe this kind of things happened to you i f you have done HARAM or something like that. and then I thought I may have done some how somewhere, unnoticed.
After 10 minutes i receive a call from the help line saying that, we have checked the CCTV and found that the girl after you(who was a Chinese) took the money. They have already contacted the girl and asked her to send it back to my account. They mentioned that they girl said, she took it  because she was confused, however I was happy as my job was done... :)
Look, this is how the true development work, not just because my job was done but being alien i was able to get benefit of it.

Pakistan Day Celebrations 23 March 2014 (My Speech on Unity )

The contents of my speech on unity delivered in the event of Pakistan Day celebrations in Seoul, Korea under the management of Pakistan Community Korea.  Here is a link to the speech
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Z4dq_Li_rwk Although I deliver this speech in national language Urdu, here is a translated version.

I always feel happy when I have an opportunity to visit such gatherings where people from my nation have a get together to share their happiness and discuss their common issues. Sitting under the shade of green flag, conferring on how to bring more happiness and harmony to our community here In Korea always bring me an internal peace and is a source of recreation for me. I always feel proud when I see people of my land representing the green flag in different international forums and becoming a source of earning good name for my beloved Pakistan. Whenever I see a Pakistani guy getting a good job abroad, representing our adored nation among the other nations of the world, my heart is filled with pride and pleasure and I feel alive. That is a reason why I fell in love with all those people and unintentionally my respect increase for them. I can see many people in Korea who are a symbol of pride for Pakistan and among many of those I would name Dr Asad, Dr Sabir, Zahid Hussain, A.B Saim, Ikram Khan, Dr. Gul, Saeed Khan, Tanveer Abbasi and Wali Khan.
At the same time I feel dishearten when I see destruction, disrespect and self-centeredness among the members of Pakistan community.  I really feel surprised when I see people of my nation quarreling for their own name and don’t care about the image of their beloved nation. It really make me upset when I see people being slaved to their egos ruins the good name of a nation. It kills me softly when I see that people of my nation are dividing themselves on the basis of provincial, ethnic and bilingual groups. Sometimes our quick decisions bring us down not only destroying our own image but the whole nation. All these situations lead to disrespect and disbelieve among the members of community and I can see some of us are moving towards this situation which will bring the whole community to its knee sooner or later.

Few months back our student’s community has some problems which have divided the community into many groups and a situation of disrespect was created among the students members. Thanks to the special efforts of Pakistan Community Korea and the honorable Zulfiqar Khan and Khalid Khan who managed to bring both the groups to sit together and solve the common issues in a peaceful discussion. That was a great day of my life when all the students’ community members agree to the same chartered of life under the one and only green flag and for the betterment of our nation. Hats off to all the individuals whose efforts made it possible. I am very thankful to all of them personally to bring all the students to a single platform named as Pakistani Students in South Korea (PSAK). That was indeed a great example of unity and respect for the mutual honor of country.
One thing is worth mention here that I wrote a blog about the Pakistan Community Korea in which I mentioned about the three pillars of Pakistan community Korea i.e. the Students, businessman and workers community all together working under the umbrella of Pakistan Community Korea. This blog get a viral read in different countries and become very famous as was published in a renowned website of IAG 2014. Many of my foreigner friends were surprised as they said we didn’t know about such an organized community of Pakistan in Korea.  This was really proud moment for me to get this kind of response but “all was not good as we can see all is not good”. Facts cannot be changed with the use of pen. And the fact is that we still need a lot of improvements to be one of the most organized communities of Korea. We people are divided in groups on the basis of our personal likes and dislikes. We love our egos more than anything else. And that is why we are unable to keep our progress in the right direction. As Iqbal Said”
“Khud Badalty Nahi, Quran Ko Badal daithay hain”.

We know our loop wholes, we know what our discrepancies are, but we don’t want to change our selves, we don’t want to bring a positive revolution in our lives. In fact we don’t want to surrender our egos toward our mutual benefits. We are doing politics even sitting abroad. In this respect we keep our priorities first putting the national interest behind.  Look, what we are doing in Korea, these days spreading an environment of disrespect and haters through face book and internet. We are spreading rumors against each other’s. There are solutions for every problem but we are doing the opposite things.
For God sake my friends, it’s not time to be divided, rather it’s time to put our hands together to bring peace and prosperity to our community and our country. Let us make this day (the 23 March) a day of commitment with ourselves that we would always prefer the interest of nation putting our ego behind. As a matter of fact, to go to a high status, we need to forgive on certain issues and things. Sometimes we need to absorb all those things which are against our mood, to gain respect we need to give it first to every person around us.
I would present my own poem specially written for this occasion,
Ao Ik Nai Muhabbat Ke Shuruaat Karian
Wo mUhabbat K nahi Koi Jafa ho jisme
Wo Muhabbat k nahi koi Khafa ho usme
Wo Muhabbat k na umeed-e-sila ho Jisme

Ao Ik Nai Muhabbat Ke Shuruaat Karian
Wo Muhabbat K rahay ZInda-o-Javed sada
Wo Muhabbat K rahay Naghma-e-Dilawaiz sada
Wo Muhabbat k rahay Payyar say Labraiz sada

Ao Ik Nai Muhabbat Ke Shuruaat Karian
Wo Muihabbat K jo Dunya say mitha day nafrat
Wo muhabbat k samandar ma baha day nafrat
Wo muhabbat k dilon say jo Bhula day nafrat

Ao Ik Nai Muhabbat Ke Shuruaat Karian
Wo Muhabbat K Jo abad rahy Shaad rahay
Wo Muhabbat jo teri yaad say Abad rahay
Wo Muhabbat k Jo har hal ma Azad rahay
Ao Ik Nai Muhabbat Ke Shuruaat Karian

Medals, Pakistan will be looking forward in the Incheon Asian Games [Buzz Korea]

This blog is written to promote the 2014 INCHEON ASIAN GAMES 2014. Link to the website is   http://blog.incheon2014ag.com/pakistan-contenders/

Cricket

This is the game that everyone from my country and many countries of Asia will be planning to watch and nobody will miss a minute of the matches. Yes, Cricket is our craze. Pakistan team is very competitive and one of the top ranked teams internationally since beginning and is famous for its unpredictability overall and its evergreen bowling attack. Entitled with world champion couple of times within different formats of the Cricket matches i.e., One Day Matches and T20 Matches, Pakistan team is always having top class players who have fan following from all over the world just like currently one of the top three bowlers and all-rounder’s in international ranking are from Pakistan. Cricket in Asian Games will be nerve cracking as many historical rivals will be face to face. Pakistan India Match is still the most awaited and most revenue generating match in International Cricket. Both teams are looking forward to win this Asian Games title. I wish to witness my team matches in Korea and I support my team with full devotion and sportsman spirits.

Field Hockey

Field Hockey is national sports of Pakistan. Pakistani team has won world title in Hockey many times. It was the time that Pakistani team remained unbeaten for many years, and still its winning habit is not changed. Hockey has been famous in our region since early nineteen’s even. Pakistan has produced quality players having world records. In the past, the Pakistan hockey team had set a world record of four Hockey World Cup titles. Sohail Abbas holds the current world record of 338 goals for most international goals scored by a player in the history of international field hockey. Similarly Pakistan Field Hockey team has won 3 Olympics titles, 3 champions’ trophy titles and 8 Asian Games titles. This Asian Games of 2014 will be important for Pakistan and for other countries as well.

Squash

Squash is the game of stamina, spirit, passion, hard work and devotion all together in an individual. This is the sport in which Pakistan has achieved most success. Pakistan ruled over the squash arena like no other country in the world. Best era was of continuous five decades during which world class record breaking players one after each other kept on emerging. It reached its peak in the 1980s and 1990s during the reigns of Jahangir Khan and Jansher Khan. Between 1950 and 1997, Pakistan amassed over 30 British Open titles and 14 World Open titles. Jehangir's world records are to be champion of ten consecutive British Opens and going undefeated for a continuous period of sixty-six months. Together with Jahangir Khan, Jansher Khan able to win big titles for Pakistan alternatively. And after that Jansher Khan alone remain on the top for five years. Currently there are many names in Pakistan Squash squad like Amir Atlas and Aqib Hanif. Pakistan is looking forwards to present well in coming Asian Games 2014 to be held in Incheon, South Korea.

Volleyball

Volleyball is also famous in Pakistan and is played regularly at the domestic level. Pakistan Volleyball team has been struggling in the past although it has won good positions in some of the important tournaments like South Asian Federation Games and Commonwealth Games. Our team is still at 7 in rank in Asia. Like other sports Pakistan is looking forward to excel this game as well by showing its enthusiasm and abilities by players. No doubt Pakistan Volleyball team can bring upsets in coming Asian Games and all eyes will be on this team.

Kabbadi:

Pakistani Kabbadi team is one of the best team in the world Kabbadi playing teams. They are always a source of amusement and pleasure for the Kabbadi lovers. Pakistani team shows a great talent in the 2103 World cup in India and they made their place in the final unbeaten. They lost the final to India; however they got a lot of appreciation in their homeland for their outstanding performance. It is believed that Pakistani player will try to get a gold medal in the 2014 Incheon Asian Games.

Tennis:

Aisam ul Haq is a professional tennis player from Pakistan. He is currently Pakistan's top player. A top-10 doubles player, his highest singles ranking was no. 13. He is the only Pakistani tennis player to reach the final of a Grand Slam, which he did in 2010, competing in both mixed doubles (partnering with kveta Peschke) and men's doubles (partnering with Rohan Bopanna) at the US Open.  He is also the recipient of many national and international awards and his Goals in tennis "to make it a popular sport in Pakistan, to win a Grand Slam and to win a gold medal for Pakistan at the Asian Games”.
We hope that the 2014 Incheon Asian games will bring prosperity in the life of many nations including Pakistan. We are expecting the green flag to fly high as ever..

Welcome Party for 3rd K Supporters [Buzz Korea]

The 3rd K performance supporter’s party was arranged on March 20th, 2014 in VIPS near myeongdong by the Korea Tourism Organization. It was a most awaited party since there was no activity from KTO since January 2014. Like previous year the best K Supporters have to get some prizes for their outstanding performance all the way in 2013. We were offered a nice buffet in dinner with plenty of foods, drinks and sweet dishes. The newly appointed K Supporters for session-3 seemed very energetic with smiles on their faces. Unlike previous session food was nice but the overall management was really disappointing. The seats arrangements were not proper. It didn’t seem from any point that it is a welcome party for the K Supporters or prize distribution ceremony for the talented bloggers.  There was a haphazard all around. The prize distribution ceremony was performed in the KABOOM Theater which not a suitable place to do this kind of events.
I think KTO has learned that no matter what you offered and how you treated the K Supporter’s they are writing blogs for you. I have a quick compare of both the sessions of K Supporters. In previous sessions they offered some nice programs outside Seoul and overnight stay at weekends (Like Yeosu & F1 formula race). This time too I was expecting the same response from them but they didn’t offer those opportunities. Although there were some big events like previous years in different cities of Korea. Now In the K Supporters Session-3 they are offering free tickets only to you and not to our friends. This again is a discouraging act from the KTO. I would strongly recommend KTO to reconsider their decision of providing just one ticket to K Supporters.
It is always believed to get some honor in response to your work for any agency or organization. Look, the K Supporters are spending their time and money to cover the events and write their blogs and survey. They deserved to be awarded with some more attractive prizes including Travel cards, hotel vouchers, cameras and cash prizes big amounts). There should be a special events like the, “Buzz Korea Awards “fully covered by media and the high officials of the Korean Tourism Organization for the prize distribution. This is how the K Supporters would feel privileged. This time the ceremony was much worse than the previous one. It seemed like they were in hurry to finish the event. Any how I would looking forward to have some new performances.
Being the K-1 Supporter of session-1 and K-2nd supporter for the session-3 I believed these suggestions should be taken positively to make the K Performance Supporters session-3 a better choice for all the supporters.

Welcome to the newly joined supporters…. J
