Haeundae Beach Busan

Haeundae is 1.5 km long, 30~50m wide, and spans an area of 58,400㎡. The white sand is rough and sticks easily to your skin. The sand of this beach is composed of sand that comes from Chuncheon Stream and shells that have been naturally eroded by the wind over time. Haeundae Beach is also famous for the various cultural events and festivals held throughout the year. At Haeundae Beach there is a Folk Square where you can enjoy traditional games such as neoldduigi (seesaw jumping), Korean wrestling, tuho(arrow throwing), tug-of-war and yutnori. There is also the Beach Culture Center and the Beach Library. Numerous people visit every year from June to August.

I have a chance to visit Busan, specially the Haeundae beach with K Shuttle, Bus service for the internationals. Actually K Shuttle offors some free visits to their event winners to let foreigners about their services. It was indeed a good offer. As we have Cheosuk vacations in Korea. and for foreigners specially this Cheusok have no attractions.

On way to Busan, most of the time we were sleeping and the rest of time enjoying the beauty of Korea from the window of Bus. Korea is going to be yellow soon as autumn is coming soon. We had lunch on way as K-Shuttle don’t offer Lunch and dinner, they only offer breakfast.

We reach Busan around 1 PM and we had a free time of 3 hours. So we selected to go to Hyundai Beach, one of the famous beaches of the Korea. It was a lovely seen of Haeundae beach as we reached through subway.

The beach was well crowded where families and couples were sharing their love and existence. We also have lots of fun, playing in water, walking around the shore and enjoying the cold sand of beach. The preparation for Busan Film festival 2012 were at peak, the stage was about to reedy and it was creating a sense of excitement among the visitors. After having 3 hours of joys at Haeundae beach we back to our spot and take our bus to our hotel.
