Bulguksa Temple , Gyeongju-si

Never intended as a major temple, Bulguksa has become famous as one of the few surviving examples of Silla architecture. According to legend it was founded in 535 as Hwaeombeomnyusa temple. King Pob-hung built it for his queen, who prayed here for the welfare of the kingdom.

Although most of Bulguksa is a reconstruction, the foundation stones and the pagodas are original. According to the 'Samguk Yusa' (Memorabilia of the Three Kingdoms) the original Bulguksa was designed by the legendary architect Kim Daeseong, who overcame extreme poverty and ugliness to become a great believer in Buddhism.

the young Kim grew up faithful to Buddhism and as Prime Minister gave it official support. He personally designed Bulguksa as a memorial to his parents. Any how it was nice effort t explore the oldest.

We have a nice experience of visiting this temple. Its history is preserved in a good way. Also there were a number of visitors of this temple. It was quite clean with some attractive sceneries around. The meusium at the temple is also havung lots of attractions. The ststues at the meusium are a source of attractions for the visitors.

we spend around a hour and half exploring many parts of temple. There was a big bell inside the temple and it is believed that there is some one inside who rang the bell after some specific time period. and  also that the wishes comes true if some body make wishes while this bell ring.

We have to move forward to Andong village , so we need to leave from this place. However this place have a lots of attractions.
