Korea in Motion Opening ceremony 2013 [Buzz Korea]

Korea in motion festival is celebrated every year in the month of September to promote Korean performances and KPop culture. Various platforms and activities are used to promote this event. During this entire event all the Korean performances can be watched with half price with much more discounts. Every performance is amazing as I have been to almost all the performances yet I wanted to watch it once more if I had a chance. Last Year I was the one who performed flash mob with other K Supporters on KOINMO stage and believe me that was amazing. So I had great expectations with this ceremony.

It was an awesome evening with a beautiful weather when I along with 13 other friends was invited to attend the opening ceremony of KOINMO festival 2013. It was a great opportunity to get together before the end of summer vacations with our families sharing some foods. So we celebrate it as a one day picnic along the nice location's cheonggye stream. The program was well arranged with its seating background and entrance the location was carefully selected at its best. Many foreigners from all around the world were the guests of KOINMO opening ceremony. Every one there at the spot was excited to watch some thrilling Korean performances. The weather was amazing at the beginning which further converted into a rainy evening at the mid of the show. A managing director of KTO was the chief guest of the show.

At the start of program the attention of the participants was attracted by some quiz and prices distribution. The MC asked few simple questions about the KOINMO events and the right answers were awarded with gift packs.
Right after that was the performance of musical Hwarang, although they were not quite impressive as it seemed they were over acting however the excitement for other performances was enough to stay at seat. Next performance was the traditional and advanced Korean dance, "SACHOOM" and that was amazing. It was raining when they started performance which increased with the passage of time. As we don't have umbrella so we have to rushed to the nearby shelter. However a large number of people were still there covering themselves with plastic coats and umbrellas. Hats off to the performers as they were still performing in heavy rain..

The performance of Drum cats was the most appreciated performance of the evening. They really win the hearts of audience. Some young couple enjoyed this show in rain without umbrella. I along with my friends was at a little distance but still it was visible.
Just after the drum cats the most awaited performance of the night take place and that was the performance of K.pop stars MBLAQ before their performance they were awarded as the honorary ambassador of KTO for the year 2012.  Their performance was just superb as the audience stand up and those who were on their way to workplace stop for a while to watch this unique group while singing.

This amazing show came to end with lots of lovely performances. It was the time to go back home as the rain was over. Looking forward for some more nice opportunities.. J

67th Independence Day, Celebrating the colors of Pakistan

Having the status of independence state on the map of world is the most amazing thing in the history of nations and celebrating the occasions of independence every year is the traditions of lived nations. Since it remind us the sacrifices our forefathers that they had done to achieve the status of being  independent, I always feel energetic while having the green flag in my hands or on my chest remembering all the sacrifices that my nation has made on august 1947.

The importance of independence can easily be felt if you are living abroad, away from your family, friends in a country where you are called “Alien”.  This year 2013, the Pakistan Business Association arranged a marvelous gathering for the community of Pakistan in Korea, including people from business community, Students and working community. Forum of Pakistani students in Korea were the co-organizers of this great event. Ambassador of Pakistan, Mr Shaukat Ali muqaddam was the chief guest of the event. This was a great show of brotherhood, dedication, nationalism and solidarity. The event was beautified by the presence of children and families.
Bundle of Thanks to our beloved Ikram Khan for giving us company all the way from Ansan to Seoul and offering his car for pick and drop for this event as well. He is a person with nice personality and is well know for his efforts in Pakistani community in Korea to spread brotherhood , love and respect.

The program started with the name of Allah almighty by recitation of few versus from the holly Quran by Mufti Asif shab. The event was further revamped by the comparing of two very talented Pakistani scholars Mr. Adullah Jani, the general secretary of FPSK and Dr. Sarwat. The Korean portion of comparing was done by Mr. Imran Bashir the president of FPSK. The event hall was nicely decorated, the sitting arrangement were perfect, Pakistan flags were all around and the stage was nice enlightened with soft and attractive lights. There was a separate sitting arrangement for male and female while children were just more than happy.

Soon after the official start, Mr.Khalid Khan, the chairman of election committee PBA, take the oath from the newly elected members of the PBA cabinet and presented congratulations to the president Mr. Wali Khan, Mr Mazhar the Vice president and Mr Muddasar Cheema the general secretary of PBA.  A documentary was presented with the title of “Vibrant Pakistan” which was really an inspirational video and some crazy young people raised the slogans of” Pakistan Zindabad” which developed a true patriotic scene.

Wali Khan, the president of PBA in his speech expressed his gratitude to all the Pakistani community for their participation in the event and making it a success. He thanks all the members of PBA for trusting him for the important responsibility of president ship of PBA. He speaks about the history of PBA and all the pioneers who played a key role in strengthening PBA. He explains the current scenario and future plans of PBA. At the end he thanked the ambassador of Pakistan for his contributions towards a stronger business relationship between Pakistan and Korea.
Mili naghma were presented by Israr which created an environment of patriotism as everybody was singing with the singer. The Bboys dance was awesome. They win the hearts of audience by their nice movements and incredible skills. Their movements were amazing and attractive. One of them presented congratulations and good wishes to the Pakistani community on this historical day. The honorary council general and the representative of Pakistan Korea friendship presented a great respect for the people of Pakistan in their speeches. They represent a hope for an eternal friendship. They said that they have a respect for the traditions and culture of Pakistan.
The ambassador speech was another important segment of the day. He said we have an official flag raising meeting in the embassy on August14.  He explains Pakistan-Korea relationship in detail. He said we are working in many fields of life like shipping, education, industry, power and sharing of culture. He said that in our 45 years of friendship, 3 Prime Ministers and 1 president of Pakistan have visited Korea, among which one president and one Prime Minister visited Seoul last year 2012. However up till now no Korean president has made an official visit to Pakistan. He added this time He has invited Mis Park, the president of Korea to visit Pakistan.  He congratulate the new cabinet their election and presented his good wishes for their success and achieving their goals.
Just after the ambassador speech, there was a patriotic speech by a lovely girl, Nishat Khan who was representing the youth of Pakistan. She highlighted the importance of independence in the lives of nation. She presented some historical status of the founder of nation Quaid-e-Azam, That Pakistan came into being for existence. Just follow the rule of unity, faith and strength and you will always be rewarded. The Ex president of PBA, Hafiz waheed expressed his views about the developments that BA has made in the resent years.

I along with my friends Mr Arbab Waheed, Mr. Arsalan Arif, Mr. Rasheed Husai and Mr. Naik Muhamamd presented our traditional attan with great pomp and show. This segment was really appreciated and gets applause from the audience. Here is a link for the Attan… Please enjoy… :)

The event came to end with the Dua that our beloved Pakistan and Pakistan community in Korea remains prosperous, happy, peaceful and successful in the upcoming future. A nice dinner was presented by the PBA and the food had a real taste of Pakistani Chicken Karhai, Biryani, Mutton Karhai , Kebab and Kheer. During the dinner a quiz was arranged for the audience and I won a T-Shirt. Just after the dinner cake cutting ceremony was performed by the ambassador, PBA and FPSK and a photo session was held. Ambassador meets people from different cities and fields.
Overall this was a great effort by the PBA to unite Pakistani from different background at a platform. This was a prodigious achievement by the newly selected cabinet as members of Pakistani community participated from faraway cities like Busan, Daegu, Gwangju, Daejan, Incheon and many more for the first time ever in such a large number. I must say BPA, Mr. Wali Khan, Mr. Khalid Khan and the Forum of Pakistani Students in Korea deserved a big appreciation for this successful event. May Allah almighty bless our country with much more unity, prosperity and strength.

Midday Korean Dance [Buzz Korea]

It was the day of celebrations for Korea as they got the status of independent country from Japan this day. Same as yesterday when my country was celebrating the independence day the 14 August. Both these days are very important for me since I am in Korea. As I have a big opportunity to compare two nations, their attitudes and developmental process to get a status of well developed countries.
The “Midday Dance Fantasy” has been created to provide an easy and accessible form of Korean dance for audiences in Korea and overseas. Spoken commentary is included to help audiences understand Korean dance. The program includes both traditional dances like “Buchaechum” and “Hallyangmu” and Korean dances adapted to contemporary times, such as new works choreographed by the National Dance Company of Korea. Colorful costumes and diverse props add to the visual spectacle.
Korea Tourism Organization invited me to enjoy the beautiful midday Korean dance on this auspicious day of their liberation. It was a wonderful morning and I was planning to go and eat some nice tasty Pakistani food in Itewon with my wife. So that was cool opportunity.
Korean midday dance was just awesome. It has been since long I was waiting for a performance like that. Every dancer was at their best. The drummers, the beaters and the dancer, everyone was just perfect. They use some amazing instruments to get the attraction of the audience.
Twice every month from March to June, the National Theater of Korea has hold midday performances featuring traditional Korean dances, including fan and percussion. The performance was divided into two parts the first was the dance performance dedicated to the sky , and the second, to the earth. The show was subtitled into English and that was a good enough to appreciate the colorful and vibrant Korean cultural by the foreigner audience.
Small Dum dance: Sogo Chun has been developed in people’s daily life and often played to lift the spirits during farmer’s group labor or a holiday. The dancers danced with playing sogo, and this dance made the audience very joyful.
The paired dance performances were remarkable with background music. They perform with instruments like Daego, Seugjeongu and that was worth watching. Movements of both the girl and boy partners were truly attractive. The appearance of the winners from Seoul International Dance Competitions has added more charm to the Korean midday dance show.
In addition, winners from the Seoul International Dance Competition will prepare a piece to present to the audience each month.

The show persisted for about an hour, It was all the way an amazing entertainment. Just after finishing the show we received bread and butter from Outback Steakhouse. Over all it was lovely day to spent at Haneul youth theater.

Finding Myself

Live is full of charm, amazing things somehow sad and annoying acts. Sometimes we feel we are the true people with so much in our lives. Some other times we feel proud on our deeds. Somehow we also accept that we were wrong while dealing with friends, family members or even with our selves. However all these conditions depend on our mood, surroundings and feelings. While dealing with life in each and every respect we forget our reality and try to impose something else on our nature which actually doesn’t match our character. The biggest thing is that we need to sit down and think who we actually are, what are our priorities and what should be our priorities, how we did and what we are doing and what should we do? I am not sure about others but most of the times I mixed my necessities with my priorities and at the end of the day I feel embarrassment. Once I read in Faziel-e-aamal that we should sit down every day and should done self-assessment. This will help us to understand the realities of life and will also help us to be in limits.

I had a chance of ’Finding myself “this RAMADAN. Basically it was a time to go deep inside me and search how and what I normally do in my life. Similarly I experienced the same in people all around me and in our society. Any way it was a nice experience and I got many chances to realize the truths about me and my life. Hereby given are the different attitudes we usually use to approach life.
The first thing I experienced in this regards was to search for my identity. If I will describe myself in few words I may say, I am life and life is me, I can feel, I can see, I am patient, An egoist, taking life as experience,, expect a lot, friendly, believe myself, love my family, believe in honesty and commitment, hate haters, volunteer, like poetry, travelling, reading, white color, Moody, taking pictures, love games, nature, peace, communication, sky, sea and mountains.

Is it a true definition of me?? Is it my true identity?? Let us think another way
We use different parameters to identify someone, which might be nationality, ethnic groups, race, skin color, gander, religion and much more. Though we use many or few of these parameters to identify each other at work place and this is a source of haters among the society. This kind of differentiation leads to unrest and injustice in society and promotes humiliation instead of stability and peace. I think the most important identity is that we are human beings. We are made by One God, Allah who is the creator of the universe. We need to understand that we are the creators of Allah so we all are respected for one another.
Sometimes the socioeconomic status become your identity e.g. the poor and the wealthier. Both these classes think different and act different. Sometimes people are classified into educated and un educated. We think education can give a better chance. We have divided ourselves into many classes and sects and different kinds of people who at war with each other. We always think about ourselves and we want more and more without realizing that we already have a lot. This lust for power, food and wealth never came to end.

Somewhere the differences are because of good looking and no so good. We want perfection always and in every field of life. Without considering our resources and surrounding we want to live the lives of emperors. No matters how we look like but we want a perfect match. We want a more beautiful woman to marry. We want a wealthy family to get married with.
We want to be looking good and if we fail so, still we want to be praised.
Sexual identity is also a big identity according to which the differences among man and woman and she males are a big source of differentiation. Some societies consider woman as a source of amusements, somewhere woman is considered as slave and in some society’s woman are as much important as man.
Somewhere people are identified on the bases of ideology. Some of us are communist, conservative, liberal, fascists and socialist. The problem is that every one of us considers he/she right and thinks that the rest of people are wrong. Every one of us wants to impose our wishes, likes and dislikes on every other man and woman and this sort of behavior has endangered the peace and rest of the universe.
Some of the difference and identity are on the basis of religion e.g. Islam, Buddhism, Hinduism, Christianity and Jews. Sometimes religion becomes a big identity. Religion belongs to us and we belong to religion. Everyone is independent in following the religion of their choice and everyone has the right to attract people towards their religion. Today the problem is that every other religion believers want to impose their religion on the people of other religion. We might not be good followers of our religion yet we want others to follow our religion.
Spiritual Identity is the most important identity. Some of us are aware of it while most of us don’t know this kind of identity.
Not everyone is free today in Life????
If you will ask someone like this his/her reply will be ….What???
I am not free??
Politically we may be free but, as soon as sin has a tight grip on us, we are not free.
We are not free because we are addicted to greed, ego, pride, power, lust, discrimination, anger, jealousy and much more.

Sin destroy everything we have, the thing which we are addicted to can really destroy ourselves, these can damage our real face and characteristics e.g. technology is a good thing but if controlled by a sin it became a bad thing. We can see the war against poor and on the name of war against terror is actually controlled by dirty minds and lust for power so it is a bed thing which is imposed with the help of technology in the form of media, weapons and wealth.  So we can say, Sin is the cause of all sorrow.
Everybody agrees to the statement that happiness don’t depend totally on wealth and money alone cannot give you happiness. Some people have awesome life style but they are not satisfied and thus taking counseling/medicine/drugs for this satisfaction. They have everything that world required for happiness but they are empty.
Allah offers forgiveness from sins. Allah knows that we are very week and we are made of clay. Allah knows its creation the best. He knows we forget our lesson and move towards a sinful life, but Allah who is the most merciful is always waiting for our return.
It is time to think, Are we free? From the influence of sin and evil.?????

During all this Ramadan I found we are not free from the influence of evil and devil. Yes, every one of us want to get the true freedom, freedom from evil, devil, worries, poverty, injustice, corruption and all the bad things in our society. But we need to return to our creator. If we will be able to do so, if we will be able to know the truth noting will influence us in our lives. The freedom will give us joy and happiness and will give us a clear vision. May Allah almighty forgive our sins and give us the courage to follow the right path, yes the path of Prophet Muhammad (S.A.W.Waslam. Ameen
